Eagles 2015 Schedule Features Night Games and Thanksgiving Trip

The Philadelphia Eagles will open 2015 on the road on a Monday night.

In the schedule announced by the National Football League on Tuesday night, the Eagles visit the Atlanta Falcons to start the season in a nationally televised contest Sept. 14.

Other highlights for the Eagles include hosting a Monday night affair and a Thanksgiving Day contest.

On Monday, Oct. 19, the Eagles entertain the New York Giants in a NFC East match-up.

The Eagles land in Detroit for the annual Thanksgiving against the Lions on Nov. 26.

Eagles Bring Tebow Back to NFL

Tim Tebow participated in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in 2006.

Tim Tebow is returning to the National Football League.

According to multiple reports, the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday.

Tebow joins Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley and G.J. Kinne, who are all competing for the Eagles quarterback job.

Over three seasons in the NFL from 2010-12 with the Denver Broncos and New York Jets, Tebow played in 35 regular season games with 16 starts. His best year was in 2011 when he led the Broncos to the playoffs.

That year, the Broncos won 29-23 in overtime over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The next week in the Division Round, Denver lost 45-10 at the New England Patriots.

Pre-Season Schedule Announced

The Philadelphia Eagles acquired Sam Bradford from the St. Louis Rams on March 10, 2015. The Eagles sent Nick Foles and two draft picks to the Rams.

The pre-season schedule for the Philadelphia Eagles upcoming season was announced on April 9.

The first two contests are slated for Lincoln Financial Field, while the Eagles will finish the pre-season with a pair of road trips.

The actual dates and time are not set, but here is a look and the pre-season games.
